Saudia adds Phuket to seasonal destinations

Saudia, the national flag carrier of Saudi Arabia, has announced the addition of Phuket to its seasonal destinations, making it the second city in Thailand to join its network, following the capital, Bangkok.
This expansion aligns with Saudia’s strategic objective to broaden its international flight network and bring the world to Saudi Arabia, leveraging its young fleet and enhancing its global competitive advantage.
Saudia will commence flights to Phuket on December 2, 2024, offering 12 weekly round trips from Riyadh and Jeddah combined. Bookings will be available through Saudia’s website and mobile app.
Operational preparations are currently underway at Phuket International Airport to ensure an exceptional service and seamless experience for all guests.
The airline will deploy its Boeing 787 Dreamliner aircraft on the routes between the Kingdom and Phuket. These Dreamliners are equipped with spacious seating, advanced inflight entertainment systems catering to diverse guest preferences, and other premium onboard services designed to enhance the travel experience.
Saudia was recently recognized as the World’s Most Improved Airline 2024 by Skytrax, marking the third time it has received this accolade, alongside 14 other distinguished awards.
The airline has also been awarded the “World Class Airline 2024” for the third consecutive year at The APEX Official Airline Ratings™ awards. Additionally, it also ranked top among global airlines for best on-time performance (OTP) according to a report by Cirium.
Special promotion
The airline is also offering a 20% discount on flights between its domestic destinations. This special promotion is part of Saudia’s ongoing efforts to enhance guest loyalty through various initiatives. The discount applies to bookings made on August 26 and 27, 2024, for travel throughout September 2024.
Currently operating a diverse fleet of 144 aircraft, Saudia is set to expand further with the addition of 131 new aircraft in the coming years. This growth supports Saudia’s objective to connect the world to the Kingdom through high-quality air services.
