Dubai International hosts top aviation industry leaders for IATA’s 153rd Slot Conference

Dubai Airports, the organization responsible for managing both Dubai International (DXB) and Dubai World Central (DWC) airports, has announced its sponsorship of the 153rd Slot Conference organized by the International Air Transport Association (IATA). This conference will gather important stakeholders from the global airline and airport industry in Dubai.

Scheduled to take place from November 14th to 17th at the Dubai World Trade Centre (DWTC), this edition of the conference marks the first time it will be hosted in Dubai. Dubai Airports will serve as the host airport for this significant event in the aviation sector and will also host the networking reception.

The Slot Conference is a biannual event that has long been a crucial part of the aviation planning calendar. It offers the global airline community an opportunity to efficiently optimize their planned flight schedules and explore new possibilities for route and network expansion. The 153rd edition of the conference is expected to draw more than 1,100 delegates, including representatives from nearly 200 slot-coordinated airports and over 225 individual airlines from various parts of the world.
